​Jessica Voight (Jess) was born and raised in central Iowa (the middle of everywhere) and now lives, works, and plays in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Instead of retiring (like normal people), Jess recently graduated from North Iowa Area Community College with an associate's degree in Graphic Communication and is currently working as a freelance Graphic Artist.

Previously, as co-owner and manager of the Mitchell County Abstract Company, Jess supervised the day-to-day operations of the company for over ten years.

​

Before coming to the Mitchell County Abstract Company, Jess owned and operated an interior decorating business, “Cottage Interiors.” For over 25 years, Jess worked closely with a wide variety of clients to design, organize, and execute interior design plans for homes and businesses.  

​

Giving back to the community, Jess was instrumental in establishing a nonprofit organization, “Room for Me,” which provided free bedroom makeovers for underprivileged children in need. For ten years, Jess worked closely with a board of directors to organize fundraisers, recruit volunteers, select candidates, and create custom dream bedrooms for children.
